• Information you send when you request a Books Health Check or book a call, including details about your agency
• Records you provide during an engagement — accounting files, bank and premium trust account statements, carrier commission statements, producer compensation records and related documents

Information collected automatically

Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

How we use information

We do not use client records for any purpose other than delivering the services engaged, and we do not use them to market to your clients.

We may send text messages to individuals who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive them. Consent is obtained verbally, by inbound text, by email, or on a written or web form where an SMS disclosure is shown.

• What we send — appointment confirmations and reminders, follow-up on an inquiry, and service-related messages about an active engagement. We do not send marketing texts to people who have not asked for them.
• Message frequency — message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with us.
• Cost — message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent and received.
• Opting out — reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.
• Help — reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below.
• Carriers — mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with the service providers that operate our messaging platform strictly to deliver messages on our behalf. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party except those subcontractors.

Text messages covered by this policy are sent from the business phone numbers we publish on this website, including (302) 500-5019.

How we share information

• Service providers — the accounting, scheduling, messaging, email and hosting platforms we use to run the business, each bound to protect the information they process for us
• At your direction — for example, providing records to your CPA, attorney or carrier when you ask us to in writing

Records you provide during an engagement — including bank statements, premium trust account records, commission statements and producer compensation data — are treated as confidential. We access them on a read-only basis wherever the system allows, and only for the purpose of the engagement.

Data retention

We retain engagement records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations, and then delete or destroy them securely. Inquiry information from people who do not become clients is deleted when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transmission and reputable service providers to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete information we are not required to retain
